Lady Gaga devastated after discovering on-off boyfriend Luc Carl 'still seeing girlfriend'
But Lady Gaga is believed to have been left devastated after discovering that the barman is still seeing his girlfriend.
According to Grazia magazine, the couple had just got back from a romantic holiday in Texas, when Gaga found out that Carl was still seeing his girlfriend.
'She's also upset because this seems to make her the "other woman".'
Gaga, 24, and 32-year-old bar owner Luc, were snapped kissing and larking about in a hotel pool in Houston, Texas at the end of last month.
The couple first dated five years ago before she shot to fame, but split over her then drug habit.
Her friend added: 'Gaga has built this whole career and she had to prove she could do it.
'But in her personal life she feels like a fool because she still can't make the man she loves love her and only her.'
Gaga and Carl were reconciled last month but friends were concerned about the reunion, including his mother Melinda.
>
Gaga had her suspicions that something was not right and is said to have texted Carl's girlfriend to find out the truth for herself.
The friend added: 'Luc's ex told her they were still together. She was so upset. Luc had promised Gaga he's treat her like a princess and all the hurt was in the past.
'Gaga says it's a matter of self-respect now and she may have to end it because she's just not high enough on his list of priorities.
'She worries that he's just using her for her fame and money and it's killing her inside.'
LUC CARL
From PEOPLE:
“Gaga’s first album is entirely about their relationship and her latest song, ‘You and I,’ is about how they got back together,” adds the source. “They’ve been in love for a while.”
If the song’s lyrics are any indication, Gaga intends to keep her man close by: “It’s been a long time but I’m back in town/But this time I’m not leaving without you,” she sings.
Lady Gaga performed in New York this morning in front of a record crowd as part of The Today Show Summer Concert Series and played a new song called, “You and I” which she said “was written about the most important person I ever met.” All signs point to Lüc, which must be a real drag for less important people Gaga has met like Queen Elizabeth II, Bruce Springsteen and Al Roker.
The reconciliation rumors began when Lady Gaga and Lüc were spotted together at a New York Mets game on June 10th, 2010.
Here are some more photos of the “Taco Nazi” bartender and rocker Lüc Carl from his MySpace Page that seem to demonstrate he also has a flair for eccentric fashion:
667,070,854*: Combined hits from her videography on her official YouTube/Vevo channel for "Alejandro," "Telephone," "Bad Romance," "Beautiful, Dirty, Rich," "Poker Face," "Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)," "Paparazzi," "Love Game" and "Just Dance."
18.1 million**: Number of digital singles Lady Gaga has sold.
3.64 million: The number of copies Lady Gaga's "The Fame" has sold in the U.S. since its release in August 2008, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
1.3 million: The number of copies "The Fame" has sold in 2010 alone, making the 2-year-old album this year's fourth-bestselling album thus far.
$24 million: Billboard's estimate of the gross for Lady Gaga's 47 European and Pacific Rim tour dates.
$440: The most expensive ticket package when Lady Gaga returns to Staples Center on March 28, 2011.
$40: Cost of a Lady Gaga 2010 tour shirt.
Mission: "I want to make pop music that my heavy metal friends will listen to," Lady Gaga told The Times in 2009.
10: Height, in inches, of the heels on the Alexander McQueen Armadillos that Gaga made famous in her "Bad Romance" video.
179: Total number of shows Gaga will have played when the tour wraps next year (it began in 2009).

MTV looses Music Videos from Universal Music
Negotiations between MTV and Vevo over videos from UMG, home of such artists as U2, Amy Winehouse, and Lady Gaga, broke down Thursday, according to Vevo. What this means is that most of MTV's Internet properties will lose access to UMG's videos.
That may not be all. Vevo is the online music-video portal that launched in December and is supported by three of the top four labels, UMG, Sony Music Entertainment, and EMI Music. So, MTV conceivably may have problems signing deals with the other two labels.
"MTVN has been unwilling to negotiate a fair syndication deal with Vevo to carry our artists' videos and consequently our videos will not be shown on their online properties," a UMG spokesman said.
MTV would only say that it's disappointed a deal couldn't be reached.
"During our recent discussions with Vevo, we were unable to reach a fair and equitable agreement for rights to stream UMG artists' music video," MTV said in a statement. "As a result, UMG has elected to pull their music videos from our Web sites. We are disappointed by this move and sincerely hope that UMG will work with us toward a fair resolution."
MTV has declined to enter into UMG's standard financial agreement and one that has been signed by other companies, such as Google's YouTube. Disagreements between the large labels and MTV are nothing new. MTV's rise to power and profits, beginning in 1981, by broadcasting nothing but music videos, is a sore spot for big music.
The large record companies have always said they didn't get their fair share from their videos. MTV argued that the labels got plenty. MTV says over the years it has paid the record industry billions.
More recently, YouTube emerged and music videos became the most popular segment on the site. Now, record company execs say that since music videos are huge traffic drivers, they want to be the ones who pocket the ad revenues the videos generate.

8 Things That Have Changed In Lady Gaga's Lallapalooza Set
Lady Gaga will be reigning over the opening night of the Lollapalooza festival tonight, and despite all the pre-show chatter, we're not sure which version of Gaga we're going to get: the playful self-effacing pop star, the outspoken firebrand, or something altogether different. One thing is certain: she'll be a very different performer that the up-and-coming new singer who rocked Lollapalooza back in August of 2007 - that's right, she's done this before!
Here is a comprehensive rundown of how much has changed since Gaga last graced Chicago's Grant Park - and the one thing that's remained the same.
#1. Before: 500 unenthusiastic onlookers.
Now: A massive crowd full of Little Monsters.
#2. Before: A tiny stage. Back in 2007, Gaga performed on BMI's wee stage with a lone disco ball hanging in the center acting as a set.
Now: A custom giant stage which has cost upwards of $150,000 paid for by the festival.
#3. Before: Three years ago, the "Bad Romance" singer played at 3 P.M. on Saturday, the second day of the festival.
Now: Gaga is headlining tonight (the festival's opening night) at 8 P.M.
#4. Before: No album. In August of 2007, the pop phenomenon was recently signed to Interscope, but Gaga didn't have a hit album yet.
Now: As of May 2010, the "Telephone" songbird has sold over 15 million albums.
#5. Before: One costume for her entire 45-minute set which was comprised of a disco ball inspired sequined bra top and a black bikini bottom.
Now: Well, it's safe to say that Lady Gaga will have at least 5 costume changes. And by costumes we mean complete costume ensembles which will most likely go beyond anything we've ever seen before or could ever imagine.
#6. Before: Light poppy fun dance music.
Now: From "Alejandro" to "Bad Romance", Gaga's dancy tunes have found depth through her more emotional, dramatic lyrics.
#7. Before: The dancers at Lady Gaga's 2007 show included Lady Gaga and performance artist Lady Starlight who also DJ'd the set.
Now: A complete set of backup dancers (which in the past have included the likes of SYTYCD All-Star Marc Kanemura) with a number of impressive choreographed routines.
#8. Before: No stage blood.
Now: Never enough stage blood.
Amidst all the changes that success to her concert performances has allowed her, isn't nice to know that one thing remains the same: Gaga still loves to perform in glorified lingerie.
Other big names at Lollapalooza this weekend are Green Day, Soundgarden, and Erykah Badu and over 115 other bands. The three day festival will be bigger than ever with eight performance stages and an expected audience of 95,000 people per day.
You can still get single day passes for about $90 on the website: http://www.lollapalooza.com
Lady Gaga Impersonator wins Best Look-a-like
The World's Largest Lady Gaga Look-a-Like Contest was held in Chicago, Illinois, at State Street Pizza where there was a flurry of girls dressed up like the pop star. Some tried to imitate the Telephone singer's wardrobe, while others tried their best to impersonate her strut and hair do. All the contestants won free pizza, which was culturally appropriate considering Gaga's Italian roots. But the winner, Miss Boyer, also took home tickets to Lallapalooza, where Gaga wowed fans back in 2007 and now returns on a bigger stage as a worldwide star three years later.
